City of Durham Update!

Welcome back!  We hope everyone is still safe and healthy at home (if possible) during the covid-19 concerns.  Today we are updating the City of Durham project page with new progress photos!  This job has been odd since the start of the year with all of the rain and mud in January, to a ransomware attack on the City of Durham in February delaying inspections and permitting and then Covid-19 taking hold in the US just as we were getting framing under way.  It has been a wild ride.

This job near Duke University is a planned retirement home, so it has additional custom feature, such as grab bars in the showers and a master shower with a 3ft wide door and a zero threshold, that will allow for safe access to the shower and potential for a wheelchair in the future.  For more information on this project, see the City of Durham Custom Home Page

To learn more about what you can do to prepare your next home as a potential retirement home, or if you have a disability, see our Universal Design/Ageing in Place Page for information on making your next home livable for longer. Contact us if you have any questions or wish to discuss your next home.

Check back next week for an update on our Orange County project.
